Stat Training

Well now you must be wondering "I'm a chunin, but my stats are still genin rank and low. How do I increase them?" This brings us to our next point. Stat Training. Stat training is a hard process that only rewards those who are willing to put in the time and the hard work. First off the stats (Strength, stamina, agility, intelligence, dexterity, chakra, latent power) all have their different methods of training for. Every single stat can be trained from the start except for Intelligence. To train intelligence you must by books or scrolls.
Well now that you know who can train which stats these are the way to train those stats:

Strength: (Base: 5000 words)
  • Lifting Weights
  • Punching Rocks
  • Weight Training
Stamina: (Base: 5000 words)
  • Getting beat to a pulp
  • Enduring the environment for hours (or days)
  • Cardio
Agility: (Base: 5000 words)
  • Weighted running
  • Plyometrics
Dexterity: (Base: 5000 words)
  • Target practice with projectiles
  • Training with a weapon
  • Hand to hand combat involving fists
Strength, Stamina, Agility, and Dexterity are kind of elf explanatory in how to train them as they are physical stats that involve mainly physical means of training. For the three other stas (Intelligence, Chakra, and Latent Power) they deal with a less physical way of training and some mental discipline. Though they deal with meantal and internal capabilites they do have small ways in which the physical can help increase them.

Intelligence:
Intelligence is the measure of experience and knowledge one has gained and as such can not just be gained easily through one or two sessions of learning. To gain knowledge one must have experiences which is gauged through missions. After one has done enough missions they may do an Intelligence Reflection which will gain them 1 Intelligence point.
    • 20 E-Rank Missions
    • 15 D-Rank Missions
    • 10 C-Rank Missions
    • 7 B-Rank Missions
    • 5 A-Rank Missions
    • 2 S-Rank Missions
The Intelligence Reflection (Base: 8000 words) should be an account of your shinboi thinking back on the previous missions and contemplating what could have done better or what strategies they should remember.
The other way to train the Intelligence stat is to buy or purchase books or tomes. The process of learning through these tomes and books is called Reading Intelligence. These items take up no slots but once used are branded with "[LOCKED] in your characters inventory, this way we know not to let your character use it anymore. Each book can be used to teach your character and add a +1 in the intelligence stat. As your character rises through the ranks you will see that there are more books to to purchase.
Reading Intelligence (Base: 10,000 words) is harder to do than the intelligence reflection because you have to kind of make up what is in the book and have nothing to really go off of. Depending on the name and the description of the book you should try and make up some information that would be in the book, then explain how that info is relevant and how it can be used. Your shinobi could even create a fake little scenario in the training area or in their mind of how to use the tactics learned.

Chakra: (Base: 15,000 words)
Chakra is the combination of "physical energy" and "spiritual energy". The physical energy can be increased through physical training and exercise, while the spiritual energy can be increased through studying and meditation. In this rpg the training to gain chakra has to do with increasing and showing the training of both of those parts of chakra. The Physical Training and the Spiritual Training
The Physical Training (Base: 7500 words) Is the part where your ninja is using up most of their current chakra and energy. In this part the user will use jutsu over and over, as well as do other rigorous physical activities that take strength and stamina. The shinobi should basically be going all out and wasting all their energy tiring themselves out and showing much skill and power. Once the user is almost all out of energy it becomes a spiritual training.
The Spiritual Training (Base: 7500 words) is the harder of the two. In the spiritual training the user will normally relive events from their past or face inner demons that they are struggling with in an attempt to clear their mind and gain more chakra. The spiritual training takes place in the users mind so things may be different or surreal. The user may be dressed different, people who are dead may be alive, and things such as gravity or air or color may not exist.
After both the physical and the spiritual training is completed the user will gain +1 chakra point.

Latent Power:
The latent power is kind of like how sever your chakra is and how densely you can pack it into certin jutsu meaning the jutsu is more powerful. This means that by having this raised you gain advantages in jutsu clashes or in how strong they are. Increasing your ninja's latent power can be done in two ways similar to increasing intelligence. The first way is through Chakra Diversity (Base: 2000 words). Chakra diversity is getting the user's chakra use to different jutsu allowing it to be used more effectively in battle and being more severe. To do so the user must amass 10 diversity points by learning jutsu and once done must create a topic that just asks to gain a Latent power point and listing the jutsu. To gain diversity points you must learn different jutsu.
    • E-Rank ~ .5
    • D-Rank ~ 1
    • C-Rank ~ 1.5
    • B-Rank ~ 2
    • A-Rank ~ 2.5
    • S-Rank ~ 3
    • Forbidden ~ 3.5
Once you gain 10 points from jutsu, you most post a 2000 word topic in which your character remembers the training and how it can benefit them after which list the jutsu which are being used to count towards the 10 points and make sure to state that you need +1 latent power point.
The second way to gain latent power is through a process called Spiritual Severity (8000 words). Spiritual Severity requires a 8000 word post that explains your shinobi's dive into their own mind to face their inner problems. In these journey's your user may encounter themselves or others (even the dead) or people who they have never met (except for cannon characters). The journey once complete will grant your user the ability to subtract 1 stat point from any other stat and add it to the Latent power stat section.
Now that you know how its done, you must be wondering how does that give me stats points. Now if you look next to each stats name you will see X words. That is the amount of words of training you must do to gain 1 stat point for that type of stat. But incase you don't want to read through each one of those here is a list:

Words Needed to gain 1 Stat Point (While stat is 1-10):
  • Strength ~ 5000 words
  • Stamina ~ 5000 words
  • Agility ~ 5000 words
  • Dexterity ~ 5000 words
  • Intelligence ~ 8000 or 10,000 words
  • Chakra ~ 15,000 words
  • Latent Power ~ 8000 or 2000 words

Words Needed to gain 1 Stat Point (While stat is 11-20):
  • Strength ~ 7000 words
  • Stamina ~ 7000 words
  • Agility ~ 7000 words
  • Dexterity ~ 7000 words
  • Intelligence ~ 10,000 or 12,000 words
  • Chakra ~ 17,000 words
  • Latent Power ~ 10,000 or 4000 words

Words Needed to gain 1 Stat Point (While stat is 21-30):
  • Strength ~ 9000 words
  • Stamina ~ 9000 words
  • Agility ~ 9000 words
  • Dexterity ~ 9000 words
  • Intelligence ~ 15,000 or 17,000 words
  • Chakra ~ 20,000 words
  • Latent Power ~ 15,000 or 8000 words

Words Needed to gain 1 Stat Point (While stat is 31-40):
  • Strength ~ 12,000 words
  • Stamina ~ 12,000 words
  • Agility ~ 12,000 words
  • Dexterity ~ 12,000 words
  • Intelligence ~ 18,000 or 20,000 words
  • Chakra ~ 25,000 words
  • Latent Power ~ 17,000 or 10,000 words

In other words "Yes, it is hard to gain stat points," and thats the point. To make those who are really dedicated and willing to work able to get the points. For those who are not wiling and committed, they will feel this punishing.
